5) Ladies drink free

this may seem like a weird thing to make my list. But I feel like the nights going out with my friends needs to make this list.
When I came to Orlando I only thought “ladies drink free” nights was a myth something that only happened in movies or something that you only heard about on the radio.
But I was wrong I soon found out that on Sunday and Tuesday night it was the reality.

Going out to the House of Blues and Ale house allowed me to meet new people and become closer with my friends and roommates.
I will never forget dancing the night away at HOB or sitting and talking at the ale house.

Whether it was Monique and Erika our first Tuesday in Orlando at the Ale House or going to HOB with new friends (the Canadians). Ladies drink free nights was an excuse to be able to get together and hang out with friends outside of work and Vista.

I also have to remember the nights where I wasn’t so lucky and had to pay for my own drinks. The 10 dollar sand buckets at pleasure island with Monique, Jessica, and Derek. the ridiculously priced drinks at jellyrolls (but that never seemed to bother us considering how fun we realized dueling pianos could be) and the best being the 2 dollar you call it nights at BW3.

so last night we went to BW3 and decided to walk home bc we were to lazy to wait for the bus. it was only like a 15 min walk and we totally almost beat the bus home (john would be proud).

We stopped by to get snacks at the gas station by vista way. they charged us 1.19 for these nacho things even though it said it was only 99 cents on the package. if we would have been at hy-vee we would have gotten them for free. we were not very happy about it. :)

my birthday

so this past saturday was my birthday... i turned an old 22.

i spent the day at epcot with a couple of my friends. where i got my (2nd) happy birthday button and a princess crown.

we also went to the yacht club and ate a kitchen sink sundae... which was very good. i got three balloons... the most out of anybody there who was celebrating their birthdays. (one person just got one balloon and two other girls got 2 balloons each... i can only come to the conclusion that everybody thinks i am awesome.)

i had two birthday cakes made for me one from monique and my friend jessica. (that makes a total of 3.. bc my sisters got me one too)

my birthday all together was not as depressing as a thought it would have been. but it did make me miss my friends and family greatly. but i realize that for the next coming months i don't have to take classes and most of my friends do... so i am okay with having another 4 months of summer :)
